If you want to see wild dolphins the Ecomarine Algarve knows where to find them. Our dolphin watching tours are accompanied by a specialized local guide who will identify different species and interpret the behavior of the dolphins, making your trip an unforgettable experience.
The coastal waters of the Ria Formosa in the Faro area are natural habitat of several species of Dolphins. In addition to the most common species such as Bottlenose Dolphin, Common Dolphin and Striped Dolphin, you have the opportunity to observe other forms of Marine Life, such as some Northern Gannet, Shearwaters, Petrels sea birds and some species of fish Sunfish, Flying Fish, Marlins and Tuna

Sightings: In dolphin watching we always give our best, no one can guarantee your sighting, however our experience and dedication have made us have a success of 95% last year. We always check the sea conditions for the experience to be successful .
Advices : Take a pill for sea sick if you are not use to navigate, bring a coat the temperature at sea is always lower, this activities depends on the sea conditions, book in advance.

Fisherman’s Route Sail through the Ria channels observing unique birds and flora, fishing activities, clams and oyster Farms.
In the Islands you can go diving in crystal clear waters. Stop at Lighthouse Island for lunch (not included). When you get to the end of the tour you will notice that the time passed too fast, and that your desire would be to stay on the islands much longer. UNMISSABLE.

Deserta - Farol
Route of Stª Maria Cape your tour will begin by the channels of the Ria Formosa where you can observe species of seabirds and fishing activities.
Arriving at Deserta Island you can walk and enjoy the dunar flora or swim in transparent waters, we then sail to open sea where we can spot St Maria Cape, next stop is the island of the Lighthouse, where you can refresh yourself, have a snack in the various bars or appreciate the original architecture of the island, the return to Faro will be done appreciating the surroundings of the Ria Formosa.
Advice – Although the boat is equipped with a sun shade, always bring sunscreen, hat and mineral water.

Sport Fishing
- The waters of the Algarve are rich in fish which makes our fishing activity a fun and well spent moment, usually the exits are done in the morning avoiding strong winds or ripples.
- The most common species are:seabream,red bream, mackerel, horse mackerel among others.
